ATTORNEYS & LEGAL AUTHORS: WRITE ESSAYS AND ARTICLES FOR THE AMERICAN LEGAL REVIEW

INCREASE YOUR CAREER'S "EXPERT FACTOR" AND EXTEND THE REACH OF YOUR PRACTICE AND YOUR WEB SITE BY SUBMITTING ESSAYS AND ARTICLES COVERING SPECIFIC LEGAL ISSUES

The American Legal Review Consumer Product Recommendation Seal

The American Legal Review provides consumers a resource for information regarding specific legal topics, while evaluating law-related products and services for those same consumers. The legal topics we analyze include the most common issues faced by the general public: Bankruptcy, Divorce, Wills, Incorporations, Contracts, Deeds, Leases, Trusts, Promissory Notes, Immigration & Naturalization, Employee Management and more.

As such, we are always looking for legal authors and attorneys who can write substantive 200-500 word essays on a specific legal topic of their choice or specialty. We work with attorneys and legal scholars who want to publish their essays, who want to build "author credit" for these types of written works, and who want to increase the search engine page rank of their own blogs or web sites (the biggest bonus of all!).

In exchange for sending us these legal essays, we will publish your essay on American Legal Review (and possibly on other legal web sites that we manage), we will create multiple links from your essay page back to the home page of your own web site or blog, and we will send you an "American Legal Review Official Contributor" graphic icon shown above to place on your site (which links directly to your article and adds a "seal of authority" to the look of your site).

The American Legal Review looks for articles and essays that discuss any of the "Legal Categories" listed in the gray box at the left. However, we are open to articles and essays covering different topics; please contact us if you have a suggestion regarding other legal matters that should be covered.

Providing legal essays to Standard Legal for publishing will help you gain notoriety as a legal expert, will help both parties build page rank for their web sites, and will help increase traffic through the exchange of links in a way that the search engines truly value. A clear win-win!

Notes about the American Legal Review Essay Program:

- We accept only original writings created exclusively by the person submitting the essay. We do not accept third party content, essays or articles. You may submit content to us that has been published previously on your web site or printed on another site or in another publication, but only if you are the author and sole rights holder to the work (or can clearly demonstrate that the essay is yours to distribute). While you may cite outside sources in your essay, these citations must be clearly referenced and credited.

- The more narrow and specific the legal topic or question of the essay, the better; for example, an essay entitled "Should I Create a Living Trust after 60?" is always better than one titled "An Overview of Bankruptcy". The more specific, socially current and relevant the topic -- and the better the writing on that topic -- the more traffic your article will generate for both parties.

- Essays and articles should be 200-500 words long and should focus on a single legal topic; the more focused, the better.

- Essays should be provided either as a standard text file, a Microsoft Word document or a PDF document. All Word or PDF documents must be "unlocked" so that the content can easily be copied and posted to our web sites.

- Authors must also provide complete contact information (full name, firm name, address, phone, email, web site address), so that we may verify the source of the essay or article. Authors may also provide a company/firm logo and/or a personal photo to be posted along side the article.

- As we see fit, we reserve the right to accept or reject the submission, we reserve the right to edit the submission for content or length, and we reserve the right to publish and remove articles as necessary.
